Congratulations to Jason Coreas and Jonathan Mata for being selected to the City Of Houston Mayor’s Youth Council.  Their applications were selected from over 120 applications submitted.  The council is composed of 22 members and is modeled after the elected City Council.  Both students have a passion for advocacy and a desire to achieve equity for the Aldine community.  Avalos P-TECH Early College is extremely proud of Jason and Jonathan! Way to rise to new heights, Phoenixes!

Jason Coreas is a member of the Mayor’s Youth Coucil and holds the position of Secretary.  Jason will represent District H. 

Jonathan Mata is a member of the Mayor’s Youth Council and he will represent District B.
