Club Sponsors, Dr. Sanders and Ms. Langenbuch, would like to congratulate the Chess Club on their 2nd-place team trophy and win at the Klein Winter Scholastic Chess Tournament, Saturday, January 31st.
Big thanks to the club president, Salvador Rivas, who helped organize the team consisting of Jesus Valdez, Miguel Romano, Axel Vidal, Wilber Ruiz, Bentley Woolfe, and Jacob Ramirez. Salvador and Miguel also won individual place trophies for 10th and 4th place, respectively, in their sections.
