Our Avalos P-TECH Speech & Debate team officially launched their competition season on Saturday, August 29th, by attending the CASE Seminar at the University of Houston.
Team sponsor Mrs. Goemmer shared her pride in these dedicated students, who spent their weekend diving into different debate formats and refining their competitive strategies. Thanks to their hard work and preparation, the team is fully primed for their first official competition of the year, which will also take place at the University of Houston on September 19th.
The future is bright for our debaters, and we can’t wait to see all they accomplish this season. Go Phoenixes!
Club Sponsors: Mrs. Goemmer & Mr. Stroupe
